Roasted Asparagus with Parmesan

2 1/2 lb. fresh asparagus
2 T. olive oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 400. Place asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Sprikle salt and pepper. Roast for 15-20 minutes, until tender. Sprinkle with cheese and return to oven for another minute.

This is also one of my favorites! I hate to admit it, but I bought fresh parmesan for the first time last week for my asparagus - it was worth every penny and more. I'll never go back to the little containers of the pre-grated stuff!
