White Texas Sheet Cake

1 cup butter
1 cup water
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
2 eggs (beaten)
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt

Frosting
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup milk
4 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped walnuts

Pour the cake mixture into a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Let cool for 20 minutes and then spread frosting over cake and sprinkle the chopped walnuts over the frosting.

This cake gets better the longer it sits, so make it a day ahead.
